Monthly Health Awareness
Every month is a different national health month. To recognize and bring awareness, we coordinate impactful events and meetings based on these months.
About
Aspire, Unity, Reform & Activism in Health and Society.
Who We Are
Diverse community of active student leaders and collaborators, united by our passion for health and social reform.
A space for all students from all majors to advocate for awareness, discuss pressing health issues, and engage in short and long-term projects with non-profit organizations, all while fostering valuable bonds.
What We Do
Every month is a different national health month. To recognize and bring awareness, we coordinate impactful events and meetings based on these months.
Every semester, we partner with a different health-related nonprofit to execute 1–2 large-scale projects in teams.
Workshops, discussions, conferences, large-scale donations, and actionable meetings.
In our meetings, we create educational presentations to explore pressing health issues and take action—whether it's through petitions, writing to Congress, or engaging in interactive activities that spark meaningful discussions. Additionally, we cultivate a supportive community where students can connect and build strong team bonds.
We organize fundraisers to support local communities by addressing critical health needs. For example, through our Flow Forward initiative, we raised funds to provide 2,000 menstrual products to students at Orange High School. Rather than donating money directly, we allocate funds to purchase essential health-related resources and personally deliver them to those in need.
Each semester, the AURA executive team hosts 1–2 large-scale events involving both internal and external collaborators. Our mission is to unite the campus community while raising awareness about critical and timely issues. We love connecting with health nonprofits to push and raise awareness for their mission too!
